Event Venue 

Michael and Danielle's love story began on a magical night at a Jason Isbell concert, where they were introduced by Danielle's sister, Melissa. Though Michael and Melissa had been close friends for over 20 years, he had never known that Melissa had a sister. It was as if the universe had kept this beautiful surprise hidden, waiting for the perfect moment to reveal itself. Despite the distance between them—Michael in Austin and Danielle in Houston—their connection blossomed into a deep and abiding love. Their weekends were often spent on enchanting getaways to Wimberley, Texas, which quickly became their "special place." There, they found contentment and joy in the charming town's natural beauty, strengthening their bond with every visit. Wimberley holds a special place in their hearts, not only for its picturesque scenery but also because it was atop Old Baldy that Michael proposed to Danielle, surrounded by breathtaking views and a sense of timeless romance. It was a moment that encapsulated their journey and the love they had built together. Their story is a testament to the power of love, perseverance, music, and serendipity, and as they plan to get married in Wimberley, it feels like the perfect culmination of their shared dreams. They not only fell deeply in love with each other but also embraced each other's children, creating a joyful and loving blended family. Their journey continues to grow with each passing day, filling their lives with romance and joy, with Wimberley standing as a symbol of their enduring love.

You’ll feel completely secluded at Cabins On The Square nestled at the back of downtown Wimberley on Cypress Creek. With five different spaces, you are sure to find the perfect spot for your family vacation, romantic getaway or girls trip. The Creek House Cabin has two bedrooms with a queen sleeper sofa and sleeps seven. The Cozy Cabin is the perfect size for two and the Log Cabin Suites have three individual bedroom suites with two queen beds in each to accommodate up to four.

Texas’ premier hand blown glass lighting and art glass studio, creating exclusive vases, sculptures, plates, glassware, gifts and lighting since 1992 in our Wimberley Valley studio. LIVE GLASSBLOWING DEMONSTRATION HOURS&nbsp;Thursday through Sunday 10:30-3:30pmDemos are ongoing throughout the day. Glassblowers take an unscheduled half hour lunch mid day. Our viewing area is open air and most comfortable&nbsp;in the summer months during&nbsp;morning hours. The demo area hosts ongoing live glassblowing demonstrations throughout the day. We are handicapped equipped, all ages are welcome,&nbsp;and there is a gallery scavenger hunt available upon request for children. Small&nbsp;lap dogs may come watch too. Ceremony is a botanical studio and boutique located in the Texas Hill Country, offering pretty plants and thoughtful goods for habitat and home.

A unique spot almost hidden in the center of Wimberley, the Blue Hole is lined by old growth cypress trees that have survived floods, milling, and settlers' needs for building materials. The Blue Hole property possesses what is now becoming a much more rare ecosystem and supports many species of birds, reptiles, insects, amphibians, and mammals. Native grasses, wildflowers and groves of varieties of central Texas trees and shrubs are decoratively combined with rocky outcrops, creating a scenic and special environment.

Jacob's Well Natural Area is open to the public from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. daily for hiking and viewing the spring. In addition, the Natural Area offers primitive and accessible trails, geocaching, self-guided audio tours, bird and wildlife watching opportunities, picnic sites, demonstration gardens, weekend Nature Center exhibits and a small children's play area.

Thanks to&nbsp;Bootiful Wimberley, which is a project of the Wimberley Valley Arts and Cultural Alliance, we have 50 unique and individually designed boots scattered at businesses throughout the town. These landmarks were introduced in 2014 in an effort to highlight local artists and enhance tourism at the same time. Both business sponsors and artists agreed that this was a fantastic idea.The first Bootiful boot was introduced with a huge party in September 2014. Then, 32 sponsor locations were unveiled, including ours. People loved them, and the demand grew. As the result, 18 additional boots were released at new sponsor locations in May of 2015 bringing the total number of boots around the Wimberley area to 50 (48 are currently on display). In 2021, the WVAVA board approved to add 10 more boots, raising the cap to 60 throughout Wimberley. These newest locations have yet to be revealed, but are coming in the following year(s). Finding the Bootiful Boots around Wimberley To get things started, the&nbsp;After Midnight Boot is located at our beloved Hotel Flora and Fauna at 400 River Road. The artist who created our boot is Tony Sansavero, and he also painted the mural that can be seen below the boot and on the wall of the hotel, immediately adjacent to where the boot sits.
