Jobell Café & Bistro, located on Ranch Road 12, North of Wimberley’s center, offers a carefully selected and prepared menu of sophisticated simplicity. LIVE GLASSBLOWING DEMONSTRATION HOURS

Thursday through Sunday 10:30-3:30pm

Demos are ongoing throughout the day. Glassblowers take an unscheduled half hour lunch mid day.

Our viewing area is open air and most comfortable in the summer months during morning hours. The demo area hosts ongoing live glassblowing demonstrations throughout the day.

We are handicapped equipped, all ages are welcome, and there is a gallery scavenger hunt available upon request for children. Small lap dogs may come watch too. See how we form works of art from molten glass. You'll be amazed!

Ceremony is a botanical studio and boutique located in the Texas Hill Country, offering pretty plants and thoughtful goods for habitat and home.

A unique spot almost hidden in the center of Wimberley, the Blue Hole is lined by old growth cypress trees that have survived floods, milling, and settlers' needs for building materials. The Blue Hole property possesses what is now becoming a much more rare ecosystem and supports many species of birds, reptiles, insects, amphibians, and mammals. Native grasses, wildflowers and groves of varieties of central Texas trees and shrubs are decoratively combined with rocky outcrops, creating a scenic and special environment.

Jacob's Well Natural Area is open to the public from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. daily for hiking and viewing the spring. In addition, the Natural Area offers primitive and accessible trails, geocaching, self-guided audio tours, bird and wildlife watching opportunities, picnic sites, demonstration gardens, weekend Nature Center exhibits and a small children's play area.

Thanks to Bootiful Wimberley, which is a project of the Wimberley Valley Arts and Cultural Alliance, we have 50 unique and individually designed boots scattered at businesses throughout the town. These landmarks were introduced in 2014 in an effort to highlight local artists and enhance tourism at the same time. Both business sponsors and artists agreed that this was a fantastic idea.

The first Bootiful boot was introduced with a huge party in September 2014. Then, 32 sponsor locations were unveiled, including ours. People loved them, and the demand grew. As the result, 18 additional boots were released at new sponsor locations in May of 2015 bringing the total number of boots around the Wimberley area to 50 (48 are currently on display). In 2021, the WVAVA board approved to add 10 more boots, raising the cap to 60 throughout Wimberley. These newest locations have yet to be revealed, but are coming in the following year(s).

Finding the Bootiful Boots around Wimberley

To get things started, the After Midnight Boot is located at our beloved Hotel Flora and Fauna at 400 River Road. The artist who created our boot is Tony Sansavero, and he also painted the mural that can be seen below the boot and on the wall of the hotel, immediately adjacent to where the boot sits. This is a fantastic place to start your tour of the Wimberley boots, and our map provides all of the distances to the other 47 viewable boots from this location.
